All of our residents receive home health, hospice, and therapy treatment when required. Our mission is to keep residents as safe, active, and independent as possible. 

We have Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Registered Nurses (RN’s), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) on staff for daily Medpass, wellness checks and daily assessments. If you are looking to work for a family owned company please see our careers page.

Our medical team is trained in dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, Parkinson’s, and other age-related conditions. 

Intense and impulsive behavior is common among individuals with memory loss. When such an outburst happens, it is vital to create a safe environment and understand what may have triggered it. We take a proactive approach to work with families to reduce such triggers and outbursts. It is also essential to monitor the safety of other residents and our caregivers. The wellness Coordinator and House Manager maintain constant communication with the families of our residents. We also encourage families to engage with our team to create the best experience possible for their elderly loved ones.

We are firm believers in alternative medicine and non-traditional forms of treatment. We implement music therapy and pet therapy on a consistent basis. We are also open to any suggestions you might have. 

Like all communities in the state of Louisiana, we are 100% private pay. Our monthly rates are all-inclusive and do not increase based on level-of-care or length of stay!

We do accept long-term care insurance and veteran Aid and Attendance benefits.  Louisiana Medicaid and Medicare do not currently aid individuals to help with the cost of assisted living.

We have a 1:4 or 1:5 caregiver to resident ratio daily. 

Our homes have primarily private rooms. A few of our homes have several companion suites.

All bathrooms at Peristyle Residences are outfitted with the latest safety features. Not only do we follow ADA compliant guidelines, but go above and beyond to keep our resident safe in the restroom. 

Dental care is one of the most commonly overlooked health concerns for elderly residents living in senior living homes or communities. We encourage families to regularly schedule dentist appointments for their loves ones. Also, our caregiver team is trained to look out for common oral hygiene issues.
